PUPILS at The Richmond School in Skegness were treated to a special visit by a guest and her feathered friend last week.

Denise Bignell and her European Eagle Owl, known as Alvin, dropped by to talk to the year one and two children about the birds. The classes have been learning about birds of prey and owls for their topic this term, looking at what they eat, their habitat and how they live.

“It was an enjoyable day,” said teacher Daniel Helliwell.
