OPEN evenings and visit days at King Edward VI Humanities College, Spilsby, enabled pupils and parents to get involved with a wide range of fun and informative actives.
Four events from June 21 to June 24, demonstrated the college’s academic facilities and also showcased a new eco-barn.
The recently completed interactive learning zone, provides a space for teachers to enhance their lessons within the organic and evolving surroundings of the barn.
Despite unfavourable weather, visitors were able to enjoy a barbecue and sample some of the canteen’s school meals.
The series of events proved so popular and successful that the school will be holding another open day.
This will be held on September 14, and staff are already looking forward to meeting with lots of parents again.
