More pupils start primary school
MORE children have been given a place at their primary school of choice this year with a large increase in the number of children starting school.
Executive councillor for children’s services Patricia Bradwell said: “I am delighted to see more children than ever getting their first school of preference and this should be even better by September. It is always our intention to support as many parents as possible with their choice of school.”
