THE Rotary Club of Skegness has recognised the efforts of two local schools after they gave charters for two RotaKids Clubs last week.

Great Steeping School and The Viking School in Skegness have both received recognition for the work they do in the community for the benefit of others.

They were both presented with their charter certificates and RotaKids t-shirts donated by The Rotary Club of Skegness and RotaKids flags donated by The Royal Hotel in Skegness.

“RotaKids is a great way for youngsters aged between seven and 12-years-old to get together and enjoy working on a fun project,” said Skegness Rotary’s Margaret Taylor.

“Rotary clubs work to help RotaKids get the most fun and enjoyment from what they are working on.

“The schools benefit from motivated youngsters who are eager to use their Maths and English skills to help others.”
