SKEGNESS Grammar School rocked for a good cause last week when its charity committee staged a fundraising concert.

The money raised will go to the Lincs & Notts Air Ambulance and Help for Heroes.

“Talented students let their hair down as they performed for their appreciative audience on Friday,” said a spokesperson.

“It was a lively event as bands and singers strutted their stuff.

“One of the highlights was a group masquerading as ABBA.

“Their medley of the famous group’s songs had everybody on their feet and the question on all lips was ‘Who are these stars?’

“It was later revealed that the Headmaster, Deputy Head, Head of Biology and Drama had joined forces to help raise money for charity,” they added.
