More than 360 visitors to Skegness Academy’s annual open evening on Thursday had the chance to witness the ‘fabulous’ new facilities achieved through a £19 million investment.
The evening has been hailed as a ‘resounding success’ as part of the school’s plans to build its reputation in the local community.
Principal Ian Corns said: “The academy is able to accommodate pupils of all ability levels and deliver such breadth and depth in its curriculum to cover all academic and vocational courses.
“The success at the Skegness Academy is built upon outstanding levels of behaviour, attendance and teaching.
“Quite simply, we ensure that every student will succeed.”
The school says it is nearing over-subscription due to its ‘outstanding’ exam results over the summer.
