John Spendluffe Technology College has called a recent trip to Paris for almost 50 of its students a “huge success”.

The pupils travelled to the French capital in December for a “magical” weekend.

“On the Friday, we climbed the Eiffel Tower, walked down the Christmas markets on the Champs Elysée and took a town trail round Montmartre, finishing at the Sacre Coeur,” said a spokesperson. “The Saturday consisted of a full day in Disneyland Paris, watching the Christmas parades, trying out rollercoasters and making fantastic memories!

“During the evenings students tried snails, made crepes, played sports and relaxed after their five-course Christmas dinner.

“The four-day trip was a huge success and thoroughly enjoyed by students and staff alike!”
