Staff and students at Huttoft Primary School tucked into a delicious farming breakfast recently to celebrate farmhouse breakfast week.
On Thursday, January 30, “every child in Huttoft Primary School had the most amazing Big Breakfast”, said a school spokesperson.
Cereals, milk shakes, and bacon and egg baps were individually served up by school governors and some local farmers.
The food was very generously donated by local businesses, Bennetts Butchers, Dairy Crest, Fairburns, Tescos and the National Farming Union.
Mrs A Hurrell, headteacher, at Huttoft Primary School said: “It was a wonderful morning, designed to raise the children’s awareness of the value of a good breakfast and it certainly did that. Thank you very much to everyone involved for their generosity.”
