Pupils at the Skegness Academy have been sharing some interesting information about their town’s twin recently.

Skegness is twinned with Bad Gandersheim, in Germany and Academy pupils set up a number of displays to showcase the two town’s special relationship.

The project forms part of an ongoing relationship with the local community.

Outgoing Mayor, Jim Carpenter and Twinning Association chairman Brian Chapman latterly visited the Academy and a spokesman for the school said: “They were really impressed with the displays on show.”

Mrs Silvester, Acting Principal, said: “It really is a pleasure to work with the local community in this way and the displays certainly make very interesting reading for our pupils”.
