A FLOURISHING further education establishment has invited Skegness Town Council to take a look at what it offers its young students.
Lincolnshire Regional College, has seen its intake soar by 500 per cent since its first year, after increasing the range of courses it offers, improving facilities and entering into a partnership with other local education providers.
Despite its recent successes, the college believes that people in Skegness are not aware of what it does and so it has invited Skegness Town Councillors to take a look round.
Councillors were told about the invitation at a town council meeting on Wednesday and were keen to learn more about its role in the town.
Coun Mark Smith said: “There are some excellent facilities and I think we would be doing ourselves a disservice if we did not take this opportunity.
“Maybe we could break with tradition and have a meeting in the conference room there.”
