Students from the King Edward VI Academy in Spilsby recently presented a cheque for over £550 to the local branch of the Royal British Legion.

Members of the Legion stopped off at the school to receive a cheque for £561.69, which was raised from the sale of poppies in the build up to this year’s Remembrance Sunday services. Some of the money was also raised at the successful ‘Lest We Forget’ evening at the academy in November.
