Youngsters visiting the Hildreds Shopping Centre during the Easter break will be in for a real treat.
The centre has put on an Easter display featuring the iconic Worzel Gummidge and Aunt Sally.
The animated storyteller will be dressed like the crow man and will sing a few songs about Worzel and tell the story of how Worzel was brought to life and the antics he gets up to in the village when the crow man isn’t looking.
The display has been created to help raise money for Marie Curie and can be enjoyed from Friday, April 11, to Friday, April 25.
In the television series, Worzel had a collection of interchangeable heads; each suiting a particular occasion or allowing him to perform a certain task.
In addition, it wouldn’t be Easter without chocolate and throughout the Easter weekend youngsters will be able to get their hands on chocolate lollipops, plus creative kids can also take part in a colouring competition.
Marie Curie will also be at the Hildreds Shopping Centre selling daffodils to raise cash for their charity.
