Time is running out for residents to have their say about the future of Skegness.
Skegness Community Led Plan has been encouraging as many people as possible to help improve services and facilities in the town but the deadline for the survey is Friday evening.
Volunteers from the steering group are in the Hildreds Centre today to give it a final push and stress the importance of taking part.
In spite of Skegness Town Council setting aside £10,000 for the volunteers to deliver the plan, it is led by the people for the people.
Steering group chairman Brenda Futers said it will be a community discovery of the needs and aspirations of the town. She said: “It’s been well-received. If everyone who has said they will fill it in does it, there will be a good response.”
The three main questions being asked are:
- What are the three best things about Skegness?
- What are the three things you would most like to change?
- What would you think are the tree main priorities over the next five years?
