A host of visitors enjoyed a chance to look behind the scenes at Skegness Fire Station.
Fire crews threw open the doors to welcome the public to the action packed annual open day.
The popular event included a house full of fire hazards and smoke filled chamber .
Hordes of excited children were entertained with fire engine rides, a climbing tower rescue demonstrations and fancy dress competition.
The open day is held as part of the week long Skegness Carnival.
Senior business support from Lincolnshire County Council Zoe Brown said: “The open day gives the community an insight into what happens in the fire service and raises money for The Fire Fighters Charity.
“There has been a very good turn-out, and it seems to be getting more and more successful.
“We rely on a lot of support from local businesses and teams of volunteers helping out on the day.”
