THE SUNNY weather ensured that the Skegness Twinning Association’s summer fair went down a treat at the weekend.

Crowds made full use of the glorious sunshine and soaring temperatures to flock to the event in Tower Gardens on Sunday.

After town Mayor Steve Kirk officially launched the day’s festivities, the crowds were treated to an array of stalls from the likes of Alive & Kicking, the Guide Dogs for the Blind and the Twinning Association itself.

Delicious hand-cooked burgers and cool ice-creams were also available.

And there was plenty of bouncy castle fun for local kids nearby.
