Youths steal 14-year-old boy’s mobile phone

A 14-year-old boy was tripped up and had his mobile phone stolen by a group of male youths in Winthorpe.

The robbery took place around 7.20pm yesterday (Wednesday) in Church Lane.

The victim was walking home when he was approached from behind. He was tripped, fell to the floor and had his white Samsung Galaxy Fame stolen phone from his pocket.

The offenders, who are described as tall, and wearing blue and black tracksuit bottoms, ran off along Church Lane.
