Star Trek costume theft in Keal Cotes sparks police appeal

Police in Lincolnshire have appealed for information after thieves stole Star Trek uniforms from a pub in Keal Cotes.

“The landlords of The Coach House public house on Main Road, Keal Cotes, are keen sci-fi fans and kept some Star Trek costumes in a cupboard in the porch,” said a police spokesperson.

“At some point between 15 February and 16 March, these items were stolen.

“The costumes were three James Kirk outfits, one a darker red than the others, and one an Admiral Kirk version.

“The third costume has particular sentimental value as it was handmade from shark’s skin by the landlord’s mother,” they added.

A free meal and drink is being offered by the pub for anyone who returns the costumes.

Anyone with information should contact DC Wooll-Rivers by dialling 101 and quoting ‘incident 168 of March 16.
