Skegness motorist arrested after crash which injured two
A MOTORIST has been arrested for failing to stop after allegedly crashing into a another car, injuring its two elderly occupants.
The 52-year-old Skegness man was also accused of driving without due care and attention while under the influence of drugs or alcohol, following the crash near the Welcome Inn on Burgh Road, Skegness, shortly after 10am today.
The 65-year-old Skegness woman who was driving a Skoda Fabia was taken to Skegness Hospital and then Boston Pilgrim Hospital although her injuries are not thought to be life threatening.
Her 82-year-old male passenger also received minor injuries in the collision with the accused’s Mitsubushi Shogun.
Police said the road would remain closed for some time,
