Skegness man charged with attempted robbery

A SKEGNESS man has been charged with attempted robbery after an incident at a bank in the town last week.

Richard William McNaught (41), of Alexandra Road in the town, was charged with attempted robbery, criminal damage and a public order offence following an incident at the Nat West bank on Lumley Road in Skegness, shortly before 5pm on Friday, July 13.

He appeared before Lincoln magistrates on Saturday.

Police have appealed for any witnesses who may have seen the alleged incident to come forward. They should dial 300 and quote ‘incident 353 of July 13’.
