Six men in court on poaching-related charges
Six men appeared before magistrates at Skegness last week charged with daytime trespassing on private land at Stain Lane, Withern in search or pursuit of game, woodcock, snipes or conies on November 24.
The men – Brad Barber, 24, of Durham, Stuart Brunt, 23, of Derby, John Cowie, 23, of Wingate, Paul Thompson, 35, of Driffield, John Watson, 35, of Darlington and Ambrose Watson, 43, of Doncaster, all deny the offence and will be tried at Skegness Magistrates’ Court on June 4.
Legal aid was refused.
