Police warning on vehicle thefts from Chapel St Leonards

Police have arrested a man in Grimsby this morning (Sunday) and recovered a van stolen from the Chapel St Leonards area.

The white Vauxhall Vivaro was stolen at around 7.20am today and recovered undamaged, but police are still looking for a red Citroen Picasso C3, with the registration BJ60 HBP, which was stolen on the evening of November 26.

Sgt Andrew Price, from Skegness Police Station, said: “Please can I advise everyone who owns a vehicle to keep them secure when unattended along with removing valuables or keeping them out of sight.

“If you see anyone acting suspiciously, please do not hesitate to contact Lincolnshire Police – telephone 101 or 999 if you believe a crime is about to take place.”
