Police seek man in Skegness car theft

POLICE in Skegness have appealed for information after a car was stolen in the town earlier this month.

A white Skoda Elegance, registration SD11 DYX, was stolen from the car park of the Chatsworth Hotel on North Parade at around 5.30am on Friday, July 1.

Police are seeking a man who they believe may have information relating to the case.

He is described as being black or mixed race with his hair tied up in a large afro bun.

He was wearing a white or grey American style hooded top with writing across the chest. It is possible he may be from the Lincoln area.

In the boot of the car were several pieces of high value equipment relating to the owner’s job.

The items included were, a thermal imaging camera, Svirker tester, micro meters as well as a harness and clothing.
