Police praise for local communities following Government guidelines

Horncastle Police say they had ‘no issues’ to report after their latest community patrol of the area during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Officers say they had a ‘positive’ day as they visited rural villages in the Wolds and bigger communities like Horncastle and Coningsby.

In a tweet, officers said: “Good to see everyone keeping ‘social distance’ with no issues to report in any of the shops visited.”

Patrols will continue over the coming days with officers following the countywide policy of only using new powers as a ‘last resort.’
