Police appeal over caravan assault

A 32-year-old man was allegedly assaulted inside a caravan at Peacehaven Caravan Site, Skegness yesterday (Tuesday).

The man sustained a knife wound to his shoulder and is being treated at Boston Pilgrim hospital, his injuries are not thought to be life-threatening.

A 33-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the incident and is currently in custody at Skegness Police Station where he will be questioned about the incident, which occurred at about 00.30am on Tuesday morning.

Anyone with any information is asked to contact Lincolnshire Police on the non-emergency 101 number quoting incident number 16 of June 12.
