Police appeal after three 600 kilo bags of agricultural fertiliser stolen from Wolds farm between Horncastle and Spilsby

Police in the Wolds have appealed for information after three 600 kilo bags of agricultural fertiliser were stolen from a farm between Spilsby and Horncastle.

The theft occurred at a farm in Wilksby, near Moorby, roughly four miles south-east of Horncastle sometime between May 30 and June 12.

“The bags were white in colour with green writing,” said a police spokesperson. “Each bag weighed 600kgs.

“A suitably large vehicle with lifting equipment would have been used to take these items.

“If you recall seeing anything suspicious around the location that may assist police with there enquires then please call “101” quoting ‘incident number 226 of June 13’. Thank you for your support,” they added.
