Police appeal after ‘non stop’ road traffic collision injures 10-year-old

Skegness police are on the search for witnesses to a road traffic collision in Skegness on Wednesday, October 22.

Police report that at approximately 4.30pm a large burgundy motor vehicle, possibly a people carrier, collided with a 10 year-old-boy, near to the fire station on Churchill Avenue, Skegness.

The driver of the offending vehicle failed to stop and left the scene.

Following the incident, the young boy ran to a male who was walking in the area close to the scene of the incident.

Police would like to speak with this male, as he may have information which may assist police with their enquiries.

Witnesses to this incident should contact police on 101, quoting incident number 342 of Wednesday, October 22.

Police also appeal to the driver of the vehicle which collided with this young boy to contact them as soon as possible.
