Poaching accused in court
Three men from the south east of England appeared before magistrates at Skegness last week on charges of trespassing on land in the Croft area in pursuit of game.
The three were named as Charles Lee, 29, of Seven Oaks in Kent, James Vincent, 23, of Orpington in Kent and Thomas Love, 19, of Lingfield in Surrey.
They are all charged with trespassing on land at Croft Marsh Farm at Croft in the daytime on November 25 last year, in search of pursuit of game, woodcock, snipes or conies.
All the men denied the offence and the case was adjourned for a trial, to be held on May 15.
A similar charge against a fourth man – Albert Eastwood, 39, of Redhill in Surrey – was withdrawn by the prosecutor.
