An office manager from Skegness who stole over £120,000 from her employers was today (Friday) jailed for nine months.
Yvonne Herring, 78, took the cash over a three and half year period while working for a family run caravan site in Ingoldmells.
Lincoln Crown Court heard Herring was responsible for getting rents from tenants and issuing them with receipts.
But the court was told Herring diverted money to herself, issued false receipts and destroyed documents.
Passing sentence Judge John Pini QC told Herring he could not avoid a prison sentence despite her age.
Herring, of Sunningdale Drive, Skegness, admitted the theft of £122,000 from Arnold Laver and Co in Roman Bank, Ingoldmells, between 2007 and 2010.
