POLICE in Skegness have appealed for witnesses after a motorist failed to stop when his car struck a woman in the heart of the town.
At around 11.55am on Friday (December 23) a lady was walking down the High Street in Skegness when she was struck by a car from behind.
The driver of the vehicle failed to stop at the scene.
The woman sustained only slight injuries.
“Witnesses came forward to assist the lady and even provided details of the offending vehicle. Unfortunately nobody left their contact details,” said police.
