Man injured after assault by gang

POLICE in Skegness have appealed for witnesses after a gang of men assaulted a man in the town early on Sunday morning.

The assault took place in the car park behind the Co-op on Briar Way at 00.40am on Sunday, June 5.

The 30 year-old victim left a pub on Drummond Road and was chased by four males through an alleyway onto Beresford Avenue and then into the car park where the assault took place.

The victim sustained gashed to the head and damage to his teeth.
