Man in serious condition after ‘serious assault’ in Burgh le Marsh
A MAN was in a ‘serious condition’ in hospital this morning (Friday) after an assault in Burgh le Marsh last night.
At around 9.20pm on Thursday police were notified by ambulance that they were treating a man who had been found in Ingoldmells Road suffering from head and facial injuries.
“The man was taken to Pilgrim Hospital in Boston where he remains in a serious condition,” said a police spokesperson.
“We are treating the incident as a serious assault and are appealing for anyone with information to contact us on 101 or call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 111 555.”
The road was closed this morning from Hyde Lane junction.
