Man hit with hammer and pushed through restaurant window in violent attack in Skegness

A man was hit with a hammer before being pushed through a restaurant window in a violent attack in Skegness last night.

Police are investigating a serious assault that took place outside the Burger King restaurant in the Hildreds Centre, Skegness, around 7.20pm on Monday February 20.

A 34 year-old man was hit with a hammer before being pushed through the window of the restaurant, suffering lacerations to his head.

Two men have been arrested in connection with the incident and we are appealing for witnesses.
