A 22-year-old man was fined for damaging a fence and possessing a small amount of cannabis at Skegness Magistrates’ Court, last Tuesday.
Mr Daniel Patrick Pillin of Station Road, Alford, was charged with causing criminal damage to a wooden fence valued at £30 and for possessing a class B drug at a property in Skegness on April 26.
Prosecuting, Joyce Martin, said a disturbance was heard from behind a property and a fence was broken in a garden. Pillin had an argument with his sister in the car park behind the fence and he had lost his footing. In mitigation, Gordon Holt, said Pillin had apologised to all concerned and it had been a bad week. He was given an £80 fine for possession, ordered to pay £30 compensation, an additional £80 for the damage and asked to pay a £15 surcharge and £85 court costs.
