A police competition linked into the local force’s Lincolnshire Horse Watch campaign has named a local woman as the lucky winner.

All the names of people who signed up for Lincolnshire Horse Watch were put into a hat and a draw was held at Wainfleet’s recent Sleigh Day.

The lucky winner of the ‘Jockey Ted’ bear was Cheryl Hewson, of Great Steeping, who is pictured receiving him.

Cheryl has ensured that all the tack at her livery yard is security marked and is a supporter of Horse Watch. More free tack marking sessions are planned for the New Year.
