Hundreds of pounds of diesel stolen from Croft Bank

POLICE have appealed for information after a tractor diesel theft between the evening of Friday, August 31 and 1pm the following afternoon.

The offender entered the farmyard on Skegness Road at Croft Bank and smashed the lock and nozzle on the tank, stealing approx 700 litres of fuel.

PC Calley Murray, from Skegness Police Station, would like to hear from anyone with information about the theft and is also warning farmers and hauliers to be vigilant to suspicious activity near their tanks.

Anyone with information should contact Lincolnshire Police by dialling 101 and quoting ‘incident 233 of September 1’. Report crimes anonymously by contacting Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
