A 27-year-old man broke the terms of his non-molestation order by going to his ex-partner’s home, Skegness Magistrates’ Court heard last week.

Dennis Stephen Pocklington, now living at Small End, Friskney, admitted breaching the order on September 20.

The court heard that he was subject to the order made at Boston County Court in May this year but he went to his former partner’s home in Wainfleet Road, Skegness and spoke to her and her new boyfriend through a window, and they called the police.

Pocklington, who was not represented, told the magistrates that his partner had in fact contacted him to tell him she was pregnant with their fourth child.

The magistrates imposed an 18 month community order with supervision and ordered Pocklington to attend a ‘Building Better Relationships’ course.

He was also ordered to pay £85 in costs and a £60 victim surcharge.
