POLICE in Skegness have released CCTV footage of three suspects after dozens of remote controls were stolen from a major electrical retailer in the town.

Almost 30 remotes were stolen by suspected shoplifters at Currys in Heath Road early last month.

In a bid to drum up fresh leads officers have now published pictures of three suspects they wish to speak to in connection with the theft.

“At approximately 10.10am on Wednesday, April 6, two men and a woman in a wheelchair entered the Currys store in Heath Road, Skegness, and are suspected of stealing 27 remote controls from displays around the store,” said a police spokesperson.

Anyone with information about the identity of the three should contact PC Garrick at Skegness Police Station on 0300 111 0300 and quote ‘incident 232 of April 6’ or contact Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555 111.
