Daylight robbery sparks police plea

POLICE in Skegness have appealed for information after a mobile phone was stolen in a daylight robbery.

The incident took place near Turner Evans Stevens Estate Agents on Roman Bank, at around 4.30pm on Thursday.

An 18 year-old man was approached by another man who threatened him and stole his mobile phone.

The offender is described as being 6’1” tall, of stocky build and was wearing a black hat, white fleece style jacket and black jeans. He also had a ginger coloured stubble.

Anyone with information should contact Detective Sergeant Jim Hodgson at Skegness Police Station by dialling 101 and quoting ‘incident number 301 of January 26’.
