Skegness Crime Prevention Panel received a ‘highly commended’ award at the NFU Mutual Country Crime Fighters Competition 2014. Winning through the first round, the team was one of three shortlisted for the east area. Panel members joined others from all over the country at an award ceremony in London earlier this month.

Robin said: “The members are all very pleased that the panel was awarded the title of Highly Commended Crime Fighters for the eastern area of the country but only being volunteers could not have won against the might of the final winners of the National Crime Fighters who were six serving officers from the Kent Police force representing the Kent force.”
