Police in Chapel St Leonards have apealed for information after a burglary in the village yesterday (Monday).
The break-in occurred at a p[roperty in Wilton Avenue sometime between 7pm and 9.30pm.
“The offenders removed a keysafe box from the wall of the address and it is thought they used the key inside to access the house,” said a spokesperson.
“It is still being established exactly what was stolen during the burglary but DC Becky Latto, of Skegness CID, is appealing for anyone who finds the discarded Age Concern keysafe box, empty Quality Street and shortbread tins, or a digital money counter, to contact her,” they added.
Anyone with information should contact DC Latto by dialling 101 and quoting ‘incident number 434 of November 11’.
