DC Phil Graves of Skegness CID is appealing for witnesses to an assault in the town.
The incident happened around 11.50pm on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 as the 50-year-old victim complainant left The Stumble Inn, on Lumley Road, where he had been drinking with friends.
Whilst on High Street, near to Harris Amusements, the victim was struck by an unknown person from behind, causing him to fall to the ground.
He was then punched in the face and kicked to the ribs and right shoulder, resulting in a broken collar bone.
The suspect had dark hair and is believed to have spoken with a Scottish accent.
Officers would like to trace two men who assisted the victim after the incident and were present when an ambulance arrived. In addition, officers would like to identify and speak to another important potential witness to this incident.
The male was white and was walking a large black dog, possibly a German Shepherd.
He was wearing a distinctive “Donkey style” jacket, with an orange coloured shoulder section, possibly with the letters “NCB” on the rear.
Anyone who can identify this man from the CCTV image should contact DC Phil Graves, by dialling 101 and quoting incident number 349 of May 15.
