Antlers removed and body of deer ‘dumped’ in Friskney

Police are appealing for information following an incident of deer poaching in Friskney where the animal had its antlers cut off.

PCSO Robert Ovington, based at Wainfleet and Burgh le Marsh, sent out a Lincolnshire Alert saying he recieved a call from GH Bowsers, in the village, to report the incident.

He said the rest of the body was dumped.

PCSO Ovington asked people to be vigilant and report anything that seems out of place.

It is thought the incident happened in the early hours of this morning (Wednesday).

Skegness Police later warned people to be aware of suspicious vehicles or persons ‘lamping’.
