For the sixth year running the Welcome Inn, Skegness will be hosting their annual Macmillan charity football tournament.
The 24 hour Karaoke, which normally takes place will not occur this year, however, organisers have decided to do something a little different.
This year, the Welcome Inn nominate you to take part in their FitNominate Challenge.
Freshfitness of Richmond have joined forces with the Welcome team to help challenge supporters of the event to participate in a day of fitness activities.
Those wishing to take part can be sponsored to be at the pub from 12-5pm on Sunday, May 25; taking part in as many activities as possible, or donations can be made throughout the day.
A raffle will also take place, supported by the kindness of local businesses.
A spokesman for the event said ‘This is an event for all of the family that all ages will enjoy’.
The Dr Frankenfish band will be supporting the event and local man, Ken Smith, is biking all the way to Bridlington in aid of Macmillan.
Staff at The Welcome Inn will also be doing their bit by taking part in various activities throughout the day.
Landlady, Clare Chrysostomou said: “This is a small challenge, but with your help it will be a huge support in someone’s fight for life. We are thankful for the support of 1073 Skegness Air Training Corps as well as other local businesses who help to make the event a succes.”
“Lastly, we nominate you. It’s now your turn to get involved and nominate friends, good luck.”
