SURGERY - The Town Council will hold its next surgery at Burgh Library, High Street, on Tuesday, January 22 from 10am to 1pm.

Residents can come along and share their ideas or concerns with the councillors in attendance, who will then report the information back to the full council at its meeting on Friday, January 25 at 7pm.

Library services can also be accessed during council surgery hours allowing users to return or check out books.

CHILDREN - Burgh Baptist Church’s youth programme has returned after the Christmas break.

Impact meets on Mondays at 6.30pm for year six and upwards, Kings Club meets on Tuesdays at 6pm for reception to year five, and Little Treasures meets on Thursdays at 1.30pm for parents and toddlers.

CHRISTIAN - This Friday, January 18 marks the start of the week of Prayer for Christian Unity and there will be a united service at Burgh Methodist church on Sunday, January 20 at 6pm when the preacher will be Pastor Colin Bowden.

LINE DANCING - This popular yet informal group meets on Wednesdays at 2pm at Burgh Baptist church .

NURSING -Parish Nursing at Burgh Baptist Church is held on Fridays from 10am to 11.45am.

All are welcome to pop in for a check up, support or prayer with Nurse Mandy and the team (no appointment necessary), or just to enjoy a chat over coffee and scones

PHOENIX - The Phoenix Group offers support and friendship for those facing loneliness from various circumstances, and prayer is available if desired.

The group also enjoys outings to different venues and guest speakers from time to time.

Meetings are held on Wednesdays from 10.30am to noon at Burgh Baptist Church.

SACRED SPACE - On the third Thursday of each month Burgh Baptist Church offers nurses (and others) a chance to take time out from the unique pressures of the job and rest in the presence of the Lord, reflect on their Christian faith or seek prayer if desired.
