Due to the success of the last two year’s Skegness Fire Station are holding their third annual firefighters charity ball on Saturday, June 21.
The Grand Central, Skegness is the venue and organiser’s of this years ball have said: “It’s going to be a fantastic evening with an enjoyable atmosphere.”
Adding: “We’ve also had some fantastic star prizes that have been generously donated to us to be won on the evening”
Prizes include a lunch and a bottle of wine at Churchills, Sunday lunch at the Gunby Inn, Butlins spa voucher, a Tesco voucher, a family day out at The Deep, vouchers for White Post Farm, a family ticket for Belton House, a cable ski pass at Skegness’s Water Leisure Park, a Toto’s meal voucher and many more.
The evening will consists of a three course meal and live entertainment from ‘Liam Madison’.
Funds raised go directly towards helping serving and retired fire fighters, service personnel and their dependents, providing world class treatment and support services.
It costs 9 million pounds a year to keep the charity running and with no government funding, is completely reliant on the generosity of others.
A spokesman for Skegness Fire Station said: “Being a fire fighter is a life of bravery, loyalty and devotion to public service. The charity is passionate about the work they provide to men and women who risk their lives to save others. Thankyou all for your support.”
