The Skegness branch of The Nottingham Building Society is hosting an estate planning coffee morning next month to provide free help and advice on all aspects of making a will.
The event at Lumley Road office on Thursday, September 25 includes guidance on will writing, power of attorney and trusts.
The aim is to ensure that people realise they are never too young to start thinking about writing a will and the importance of updating a will regularly.
Branch manager Adam Moore said: “We want to help people understand estate planning and ensure that more and more people have considered the consequences of not having a will or not updating an out of date will.
“This year has seen a lot of negative publicity in the newspapers and on television regarding will writing and trusts and we are looking to help those people that may have been effected or are worried about what will happen when they die.
“This is all completely free advice and obligation free from a qualified estate planning consultant, The Nottingham Building Society is an introducer to the will writing company for estate planning services and is regulated by the institute of Professional Will Writers.”
