CHURCH Farm Village in Skegness has received a welcome three-figure cash boost thanks to the generosity of a local church.

The Skegness Community Church of the Nazarene donated £110 to the site at a ceremony last week.

The cash was raised at the church’s Meeting Point Charity Shop inside the County Hotel on North Parade.

The Skegness Community Church, which holds all of its meetings in the hotel, opened the charity shop as a way of reaching the community and working with other local charities.

The shop is open from 9am to 1pm on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

The Reverend Ian Banks said: “We have supported many local charities since the shop opened a year ago and have continued the connections made.

“We hope to continue our support for Church Farm Village by encouraging visitors to the hotel to visit this ‘fantastic facility’ while they are in Skegness.”
