Wolds Words Festival hailed after over 2,000 turn out
The organisers of the annual Wolds Words Festival have hailed this year’s event a resounding success after over 2,000 people flocked to the 2012 activities - making it the best attended to date.
The festival ended on Sunday after five days of events in 15 locations in the Wolds.
Over 60 events were on this year’s programme.
East Lindsey’s portfolio holder for culture, leisure and tourism, Coun Adam Grist, said: “I am delighted this year’s festival was so well attended.
“Festivals are about bringing people together to have fun and experience new things and Wolds Words has achieved that again.”
