Dog walker Mick Hewkin spotted this family braving the cold for a beach outing last week.

Are your memories of sun-kissed beaches, lazy afternoons and warm balmy evenings beginning to seem like a distant dream?
Why not take a leaf out of this family’s book by ignoring the cold, wrapping up warm and starting summer early with a bracing beach outing?
Bemused dog walker Mick Hewkin spotted the fearless foursome on Skegness beach last week and was filled with admiration.
“It was freezing - it must have been at least minus four or five with the wind chill,” he said.
“10 out of 10 for perseverance is all I can say.”
