A chance to take part in the east coast’s biggest cultural event is being offered to residents in Skegness and the surrounding area.
The organisers of this year’s SO Festival is currently recruiting volunteers to help deliver is wide-ranging programme of arts, dance and musical events this summer.
Volunteer development officer at East Lindsey District Council James Turner said: “We’re thrilled to not only offer people the chance to experience 10 days of high quality dance, ats and music, but also the chance to help in delivering another amazing range of art and cultural events during this year’s SO Festival.
“Volunteering with SO Festival is also a great way to give back to the community by being part of an event that boosts the economy of East Lindsey.”
The festival will see a whole host of exciting events take place across the district between June 28 and July 7, with volunteering opportunities available throughout.
Roles vary from working alongside national performing artists in a choral orchestra to providing information points and distributing programmes to visitors.
“People from all walks fo life can benefit by volunteering this year,” Mr Turner added.
